Diversity training leads a teacher to examine her prejudices: Maria is a teacher teaching a multicultural class.

She realizes she has problems with class management despite her efforts to improve her class climate.

She decides to attend a workshop on diversity to get inspired about the activities she could organize with her students.

The workshop meets her expectations but she still feels confused because she realizes that many of the attitudes and beliefs she holds about those unlike herself are negative.
