General
Welcome to the “Part 1” of this training on "Inclusive creativity through educational artmaking". This part will provide you with theoretical knowledge about inclusion and how to actively promote it in your classroom.
Let’s start!
Module 1 "Challenges to inclusion in education"
Aim: to show and explain challenges to inclusion, particularly in the schools’ setting.
Unit 1 - “The challenges to inclusion in school settings” transmits theoretical knowledge about challenges to inclusion, using different engaging tools (video, presentation and texts).
Unit 2 - “Go practical” aims at consolidating the knowledge acquired through individual and group practical activities.
Duration: 6 hours (3 hours for Unit 1 and 3 for Unit 2).

Module 2 "Inclusive education and 21st century skills"
Aim: to transmit knowledge for inclusive education and 21st Century skills.
Unit 1 - “The inclusive education”, through videos, presentations and documents, shows how to promote inclusivity and which are the 21st century skills.
Unit 2 - “Go practical” aims at consolidating the knowledge acquired through individual and group practical activities.
Duration: 6 hours (3 hours for Unit 1 and 3 for Unit 2).

Module 3 "Foundations for an inclusive educational artmaking"
Aim: to transmit knowledge about inclusive artmaking, Universal Design for Learning and Positive Youth Development.
Unit 1 - “The educational artmaking” transmits knowledge about how arts can promote inclusiveness, Universal Design for Learning and Positive Youth Development.
Unit 2 - “Go practical” aims at consolidating the knowledge acquired through individual and group practical activities.
Duration: 4 hours (2 hours for Unit 1 and 2 for Unit 2)
